The history of this family business dates back to 1980 when a young married couple with an entrepreneurial spirit, Francisco and Vicen, decided to embark on the adventure of designing and manufacturing their own furniture. He, a young and reputed cabinetmaker by profession, and she, a worker in a Valencian upholstery company, were great connoisseurs of the sector with a common dream: to contribute to the prestige and recognition of the Valencian furniture industry.

The beginnings were not easy due to the economic situation at the time. Manufacturing furniture on a ground floor, little by little, they made a niche for themselves in the home furniture market with a lot of effort, dedication and thanks to their commitment to quality, design, innovation and craftsmanship. The four pillars on which the company is founded. This is how Mega, whose name was born taking the first syllables of its founder's surnames as a reference, began to grow and become big, living up to its own name.

Aunque inicialmente Megamobiliario empezó a fabricar muebles auxiliares de chapa de fresno, olmo y cerezo, pronto el mercado les pasó a demandar dormitorios, armarios y salones enamorados de la extraordinaria calidad de cada una de sus piezas. El mobiliario de Megamobiliario ofrecía, y sigue ofreciendo, muebles de alto valor añadido con el riguroso cuidado artesanal de grandes ebanistas que combinan a la perfección la innovación y las últimas tendencias del mercado. Ya en 1995 la empresa decide desarrollar una división Contract en la que pronto consiguen destacar fabricando mobiliario a medida de gran calidad y diseño para todo tipo de instalaciones y proyectos residenciales. La aventura exterior arrancó en 1999 con las primeras exportaciones a Japón con las que Megamobiliario llevó el “Made In Spain” más allá de nuestras fronteras. Hoy en día, numerosos proyectos en América del Norte, Europa, Asia, África del Norte y Medio Oriente llevan el sello de Megamobiliario.

Currently, the second generation of this family business is made up of María, daughter of the founders of Megamobiliario, and her husband Vicente, son of a cabinetmaker father. They, together with the founders of Megamobiliario, continue to develop the entrepreneurial spirit and the values that gave rise to the company, committed to 100% production in Spain, despite the economic situation, their commitment to excellence, craftsmanship, innovation and environmentally friendly production processes.
